Veni, vidi, vici
(For immediate release)

Sunday October 15, 2006
From the desk of “V”;
Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast
vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This
visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant,
vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands
vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding
vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for
the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the
virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me
simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
A famous Latin
phrase coined by Roman general and consul Julius Caesar in 47 BC; Caesar used
the phrase as the full text of his message to the Roman senate describing his
recent victory over Pharnaces II of Pontus in the Battle of Zela. Caesar's
terse remark above, translated as "I came, I saw, I conquered". What
nonsense!
As I see it, you
haven’t conquered anything. You can’t control your own government. You can’t
control your economy. You can’t control terrorism. You can’t even control your
own border!
I see a country and it’s citizens in denial,
and I wonder if you know who is responsible?
“If only the politicians and elite would listen the common
citizen, and do what we want, we wouldn’t be in this mess.”
You believe that an artist uses lies to tell the truth,
while politicians use them to cover the truth up. [This last sentence is true,
but lets look at truth.]
Truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty you need
only look into a mirror.
Take back your country, you DO have the power. Force the
truth be told, “though the heavens may fall, and bury the chains”, that are
binding you even today.
Get active. Find out
what your fellow American “sheeple” think, and then change their minds. Learn
the truth, and spread it, for only the truth will set you free.
Learn to mask your ideas in questions, and allow the
questions to speak volumes. Words are the spear and shield of the truth
warrior. The pen is no mere sword.
Recruit others to the cause, and I will humbly lend my
voice.
This may be the most important moment of your life... commit
to it. Now, go forth and multiply.
Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici. [By the power of truth, I,
while living, have conquered the universe.]
V
